The Friendship Donation Network is dedicated to rescuing foods with limited shelf lives (such as fruits and vegetables) and getting them from stores, restaurants, colleges, and farms to food pantries. They play a critical role in not only preventing food waste but also in getting nutritious food to those experiencing food insecurity. Visit their website here.
